George Whitmore (writer)

George Whitmore (1946-1989) was an American writer on homosexuality and AIDS.

Biography

George Whitmore lived in Manhattan.[1]

He was a member of The Violet Quill[2], the Gay Academic Union and the Gay Men's Health Crisis.[1]

Alongside his novels and non-fiction work, he wrote for the New York Times Magazine,[1]the Advocate, the New York Native, and Christopher Street.
